How to maintain metal steel CNC plasma cutting machine ?
<p><span style="color:#3333ff;"><span style="font-size:14px;">1. regular change consumable parts</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">1). Regular change oil.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">2). Regular change consumable parts</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Continuous use finished and obsolete consumables affects the normal arcing in the plasma component leading to eventful torch failure. Poor cut quality is the obvious sign of worn-out parts. Replacement should be done when the nozzle oxide residues appear and there are signs of gouging in the inside and outside of the nozzle.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Inspect the pitting of the electrode element to check whether the electrode is overused. If use oxygen gas, the pitting should not surpass a depth of 3/32 inches. Nitrogen and argon should be above 1/8 inches. Gas swirls with signs of cracks, burns and dirt particles should be changed promptly.</span></span></p> <p><span style="color:#3333ff;"><span style="font-size:14px;">2. Use the right components</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Use different types of consumables which suit various types of cutting to keep component&#39;s life time and quality.</span></span></p> <p><span style="color:#3333ff;"><span style="font-size:14px;">3. The torches can last long time.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Proper cleaning, keep torch threads clean. The seating base should be contamination-free, make sure the consumables are kept in a clean place to prevent dust and dirt contamination.</span></span></p> <p><span style="color:#3333ff;"><span style="font-size:14px;">4. Daily check gas and coolant flow</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Daily check the pressure of the gas and coolant.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Cleanliness is vital, plasma gas must keep dry and clean. </span></span></p> <p><span style="color:#3333ff;"><span style="font-size:14px;">5. Avoid continuous use of O-ring lubricant and anti spatter compounds</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Use the required quantity of O-ring lubricant to brighten up the O-ring. If plan to use antispatter compounds, ensure that shields are removed completely.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Don&#39;t use grease and other lubricants. Torches doesn&#39;t need lubrication. Lubricant is good conductor of electricity which can damage the torch. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Excess use compound can clog the swirl rings and attracts unwanted metal dust. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">These anomalies can cause arcing problem.</span></span></p> <p><span style="color:#3333ff;"><span style="font-size:14px;">6. Do not hit hard parts with the torch.</span></span></p> <p><span style="color:#3333ff;"><span style="font-size:14px;">7. Do not stretch the Arc</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Further extension of the arc more than the set limit will lead to the failure of the torch. Keep the edge starts are used instead of piercing starts. Whenever doing the edge, start the plasma arc with nozzle orifice facing the edge of material.</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Having a correct timing of the arc-off signal can prevent extensive stretching at the end of cutting.</span></span></p> <p><span style="color:#3333ff;"><span style="font-size:14px;">8. Prevent torch collision</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">To prevent torch collisions with material, the cutting system should be programmed to move around the material while making cutting. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">The collision can be mitigated by correcting the changing torch height sensor.</span></span></p> <p><span style="color:#3333ff;"><span style="font-size:14px;">9. Keep correct standoff</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Standoff is determined by the thickness of materials. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Keep the correct standoff can help the arc to flow. </span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Too high or too low standoff level can damage material and torch.</span></span></p> <p><span style="color:#3333ff;"><span style="font-size:14px;">10. Do routine Cleaning</span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="color:#000000;">Clean the nozzle and electrode seating location. Use cotton swab or hydrogen peroxide to clean torch.</span></span></p> <p><a href="https://www.honzhanmachines.com/Index/index/productdetail/HZ-P1530-Plasma-Cutting-Machine-for-Metal-Stainless-Carbon-Steel-Cutting.html" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.honzhanmachines.com/static/upload/20201016/HZ-P1530 Plasma Cutting Machine (2).jpg" style="border-width: 0px; border-style: solid; width: 700px; height: 389px;" title="image" /></a></p>
